Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages efficiently using automated systems
- Safely deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report maintenance needs
- Operate postal vehicles safely in all weather conditions
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
