Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along a prescribed route in all types of weather.
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail before and after delivery.
- Collect and process incoming mail, including postage fees and accountable mail.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and vehicle.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Perform light vehicle maintenance and inspect equipment daily.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid U.S. driver's license (Class C).
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability for overtime and weekend work as required.
