Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver mail along established routes in all weather conditions, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Collect and process outgoing mail, including certified, registered, and special delivery items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including vehicle maintenance.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Follow all postal service safety regulations and operational procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions.
- A valid state driver’s license is mandatory.
- Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary) and the ability to distinguish colors.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
