Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the appearance of parks, athletic fields, and municipal grounds through mowing, trimming, and landscaping.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on power equipment, including mowers, tractors, trimmers, and blowers.
- Repair fences, perform minor carpentry, and maintain playground equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Clear debris, leaves, and snow from sidewalks and roadways during inclement weather.
- Monitor water systems and irrigation equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines while performing manual labor tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Oklahoma Class C Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or public works is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of small engine maintenance.
