Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (mowers, trimmers, trucks) for park maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and repairs on city facilities
- Manage irrigation systems for municipal landscapes
- Respond to emergency service requests within 4-hour SLA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and safety documentation
- Participate in community beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in extreme temperatures
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to safety protocols
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish bilingual a plus
