Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including street sweepers and dump trucks.
- Remove graffiti, litter, and debris from public properties to ensure a clean environment.
- Assist in traffic control and signal maintenance during special events or emergencies.
- Perform snow removal and ice management during adverse weather conditions.
- Conduct inspections of public infrastructure to identify potential hazards.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to complete assigned projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, vehicles, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
