Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of public parks, sidewalks, and city facilities
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for landscaping and repairs
- Assist with emergency storm response and debris removal
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document work activities and report maintenance issues
- Support community events setup and breakdown logistics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass background check and pre-employment physical
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Experience in municipal or public sector work preferred
