Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city parks, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, hand tools) for landscaping projects
- Respond to citizen service requests for infrastructure repairs
- Assist with storm preparation and emergency response efforts
- Conduct safety inspections of public spaces and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal improvement projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment operation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
