Responsibilities
- Perform routine infrastructure maintenance including park upkeep, street cleaning, and facility repairs
- Assist with community event setup, staffing, and logistical coordination
- Respond to public service requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Operate municipal equipment safely and according to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on special projects
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in emergency response drills and real-world scenarios
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and maintenance equipment
- Strong communication skills for public interaction
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous municipal/government experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
