Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of public streets, parks, and facilities to ensure a welcoming environment for citizens.
- Assist in the collection and disposal of waste and recyclable materials in strict compliance with city ordinances.
- Operate and maintain light to medium-duty municipal vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Respond to community inquiries and reports regarding infrastructure issues, such as potholes, lighting failures, or debris.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute special projects and seasonal initiatives, including leaf removal and snow removal.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations while on duty.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Georgia Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and operational procedures is preferred.
- Strong commitment to public service, integrity, and community engagement.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
