Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on municipal infrastructure, including roads and sidewalks.
- Inspect public works sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and city codes.
- Respond to and resolve citizen service requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Operate heavy machinery, tools, and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute municipal projects effectively.
- Document work activities and report any infrastructure issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Experience in public works, construction, or general labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
