Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city facilities and public areas
- Operate light machinery and equipment (sweepers, mowers, etc.)
- Assist in emergency response and storm preparedness
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Complete work orders and documentation accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- 1+ years maintenance or public works experience preferred
