Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols during night shifts
- Conduct security rounds and headcounts every 30 minutes
- Respond to emergencies, altercations, and medical incidents with tactical precision
- Operate electronic surveillance systems and access control equipment
- Process inmate transfers and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Maintain strict compliance with federal and state correctional standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and polygraph examination
- Physical fitness certification (able to lift 50+ lbs)
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (provided if needed)
- Experience in law enforcement or security field highly valued
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
