Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility security protocols during overnight hours
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and surveillance to prevent contraband entry
- Respond to emergencies, medical incidents, and behavioral disturbances with de-escalation techniques
- Maintain detailed incident reports and digital surveillance logs
- Coordinate with day-shift staff for seamless operations and intelligence sharing
- Supervised inmate movement during headcounts, meals, and medical appointments

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening

- Completion of state-mandated Correctional Officer Academy (or willingness to attend)
- Physical ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and restrain individuals if needed
