Responsibilities

  • Respond to a high volume of incoming calls and emails from taxpayers and residents regarding tax inquiries, payments, and account status during the night shift.
  • Process and verify tax payments, refunds, and adjustments accurately and efficiently using state-approved software systems.
  • Research and resolve complex customer issues, escalating cases to supervisors when necessary to ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions in the department's database.
