Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, network connectivity, and hardware components during night operations.
- Execute routine system backups, patch management, and security scans to ensure 24/7 uptime for federal clients.
- Respond to critical alerts and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during off-hours with minimal supervision.
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of new workstations, printers, and peripherals for federal personnel.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions in compliance with federal IT standards and regulations.
- Perform physical server maintenance and cable management in server rooms.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or willingness to undergo a government background investigation).
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent military technical training.
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical server maintenance tasks as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
