Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee inventory levels and warehousing operations during the night shift to ensure federal contract compliance.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely transit of critical supplies.
- Review and process shipping documentation, bills of lading, and manifests for accuracy.
- Conduct regular security audits and facility checks to adhere to federal safety and security protocols.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and logistical issues immediately to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate digital records of all night shift activities using government-approved software systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Must be eligible for a government background check and able to obtain necessary security clearance.
- Must be available to work nights (typically 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
