Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents with appropriate protocolsConduct access control and identification verification for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Maintain strict adherence to DHS and federal security regulations
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors, X-ray machines, and communication devices
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in surveillance technology and security software
