Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facility premises through advanced CCTV systems during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular security patrols and access control enforcement
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies following federal protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Operate security equipment including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Participate in mandatory security training and drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to obtain Federal Facility Personnel Security Clearance
- Proficiency with surveillance systems and security software
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and respond to emergencies
- Flexibility to work rotating night schedules (11 PM - 7 AM)
