Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor server infrastructure and network systems 24/7 to ensure high availability.
- Implement and maintain security protocols in strict compliance with federal regulations (FedRAMP).
- Perform system backups, security patches, and software upgrades during low-traffic periods.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for federal hardware and software.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and change management logs accurately.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to resolve critical issues and hand over system status reports.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or system support within a government or corporate environment.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
