Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of government facilities and grounds to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and assets.
- Monitor security systems, including CCTV and access control terminals, and respond immediately to any alarms or irregularities.
- Enforce strict access control protocols, verifying credentials and logging all entries and exits in compliance with federal regulations.
- Prepare detailed written reports regarding daily activities, suspicious incidents, and any security breaches.
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents and fire alarms, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and law enforcement officials.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security, military, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting process.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
