Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure municipal buildings during overnight hours using surveillance systems and patrols
- Respond to emergency incidents and coordinate with law enforcement as needed
- Complete detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Enforce access control policies for sensitive government areas
- Conduct regular safety inspections and hazard mitigation
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Tennessee Security License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
