Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts across government facilities
- Conduct nightly patrols to ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Document incidents and maintain accurate digital records in real-time
- Coordinate with emergency services during off-hours incidents
- Secure access points and enforce perimeter security measures
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless transition of critical information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Valid Kentucky Security Guard License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain alert and responsive during extended night shifts
