Responsibilities
- Monitor city surveillance systems and respond to emergency calls during overnight hours
- Patrol designated high-risk areas ensuring public safety and crime prevention
- Coordinate with emergency services (police, fire, EMS) during critical incidents
- Document all shift activities and incidents using digital reporting systems
- Conduct routine security checks of government facilities after hours
- Assist in disaster response protocols during overnight emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic first aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or emergency services
- Strong communication skills under pressure
