Responsibilities
- Patrol designated night shift zones to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond rapidly to emergency calls, accidents, and security incidents
- Conduct thorough investigations and document incidents with detailed reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and city agencies during critical operations
- Implement community outreach programs to build trust in overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and deploy resources proactively
- Maintain radio communication and coordinate backup units
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid California POST certification or equivalent law enforcement credentials
- Minimum 2 years experience in public safety or related field
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficient in emergency response protocols and report writing
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
