Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond to emergency calls, including accidents, disturbances, and public safety incidents
- Document incidents using digital reporting systems and maintain accurate logs
- Collaborate with emergency services (police, fire, EMS) during critical situations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report hazards
- Provide visible security presence at government facilities during night hours
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Physical fitness to meet job demands (ability to lift 50 lbs)
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments under pressure
- Previous security or public safety experience strongly preferred
