Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city properties during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts
- Enforce access control for municipal facilities
- Document incidents and submit detailed reports
- Collaborate with emergency services during critical situations
- Conduct routine safety inspections of public spaces
- Maintain chain of custody for sensitive evidence
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Security Guard License
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Proficient in incident reporting software
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Michigan driver's license
