Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and personnel to prevent security breaches and unauthorized access
- Operate surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols of assigned facilities
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents with appropriate protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs for documentation
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of visitors/staff
- Coordinate with law enforcement during critical incidents
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with government regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays consistently
- Strong observational skills and crisis response capabilities
- Proficient in surveillance technology and reporting systems
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
- Tennessee Private Protective Services (TPS) certification required
