As a Night Shift Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our critical infrastructure during the night hours.
Responsibilities
- Patrol government facilities and grounds to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
- Monitor security cameras and access control systems during night hours.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of locks, windows, and doors to ensure facility integrity.
- Enforce all state and facility security policies and regulations.
- Assist in the processing of visitors and employees upon arrival.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Physical fitness required to perform patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
