Responsibilities
- Patrol designated municipal facilities and critical infrastructure during night hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts with immediate protocol compliance
- Conduct access control for authorized personnel and document all visitor interactions
- Prepare detailed incident reports and coordinate emergency responses with city agencies
- Operate communication systems to maintain real-time contact with dispatch teams
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct routine security inspections
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years security, law enforcement, or military experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in CCTV operation and report writing
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
