Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas of the facility and grounds to maintain a high level of security and deter potential threats.
- Monitor and operate closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and access control points.
- Enforce all site rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with federal and local government standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Prepare detailed written reports regarding daily activities, observations, and any irregularities.
- Conduct thorough bag searches and screening of all personnel and visitors entering the premises.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid California Security Guard Card (BPOE) required.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (including weekends and holidays).
- Must pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and monitor areas for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
