Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patrols and surveillance of federal properties during overnight hours
- Monitor CCTV systems and access control points to prevent unauthorized entry
- Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergency incidents with tactical proficiency
- Enforce federal security regulations and document all incidents in compliance with DHS standards
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incident response
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of security activities and suspicious activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (Secret or higher)
- Minimum 3 years of federal/local law enforcement or military security experience
- Valid Massachusetts firearms certification and defensive tactics certification
- Proficiency in CCTV operation, alarm systems, and access control technology
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS security clearance
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Physical fitness to perform overnight patrols and emergency response duties
- Knowledge of federal security regulations (FEMA, DHS, GSA)
