Responsibilities
- Monitor advanced surveillance systems and conduct physical patrols of federal facilities during overnight hours
- Respond immediately to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations with precise protocol adherence
- Operate biometric access controls and verify credentials for personnel and vehicles
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security logs using federal documentation standards
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
- Maintain strict compliance with DHS and federal security regulations
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Familiarity with federal security protocols (FIPS, NISPOM)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in CCTV systems and access control software
