Responsibilities
- Patrol designated municipal facilities and high-security zones during overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts with urgency
- Conduct access control checks and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Document security incidents with detailed digital and physical reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency protocols
- Maintain communication protocols with dispatch and response teams
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance of security systems
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Security Guard License (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain government security clearance (background check required)
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Proficient in CCTV operation and incident reporting software
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
