Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and prevent unauthorized access through surveillance systems and patrols
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations with swift, professional protocols

- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency response scenarios
- Operate advanced security equipment including CCTV, access control systems, and communication devices
- Provide exceptional customer service to city staff and visitors during overnight hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years security experience
- Valid Minnesota security license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Proficient in operating security technology systems (CCTV, access control)
- Strong observational skills and crisis management abilities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
