Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and security systems during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond promptly to security alerts and emergency situations
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of designated areas
- Document incident reports and maintain detailed security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical events
- Implement emergency response protocols as per department guidelines
- Train junior security personnel on night shift procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid New Mexico Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic proficiency with surveillance technology
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
