Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned government facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security alerts, alarms, and emergency incidents with appropriate protocols
- Conduct access control checks and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security logs for daily operations
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Maintain physical security of sensitive areas and classified information
- Participate in quarterly emergency response drills and training exercises
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid North Carolina Security Guard License
