Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned government premises during overnight shifts
- Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergency incidents with protocol-compliant procedures
- Conduct thorough access control for personnel and vehicles using biometric verification
- Document all security incidents in detailed digital reports within 2 hours of occurrence
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Perform preventative maintenance on security equipment (cameras, alarms, gates)
- Train junior security personnel on emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Security Guard license (SRO certification preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, military, or government security
- Ability to pass Tier 4 federal background investigation
- Proficient in C-CURE and Genetec surveillance systems
- First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of hire
- Must possess valid Colorado driver's license
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in all weather conditions
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
