Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned government premises during night shifts
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies following protocol
- Conduct thorough access control and ID verification for personnel/visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners
- Conduct regular safety inspections and hazard assessments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Active government security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Texas Class D Security License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in CCTV systems and security software
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
