Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of security officers during the night shift, ensuring adherence to all protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct regular security patrols of the facility and grounds, monitor CCTV systems, and respond immediately to any alarms or suspicious activities.
- Access Control: Manage and verify the identity of all personnel and visitors entering the facility, maintaining a strict chain of custody for access cards and passes.
- Incident Management: Investigate and document security breaches, accidents, or irregularities; prepare detailed incident reports for management and law enforcement if necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with government regulations, facility security plans, and company policies.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency services and coordinate closely with on-call management during critical situations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or military service.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Licensure: Possession of a valid Texas Security License (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods; vision correctable to 20/20.
