Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities using provided equipment
- Operate and maintain park machinery (lawnmowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Assist in organizing community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs
- Ensure safety compliance and proper equipment storage protocols
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or recreation services
- Ability to operate power tools and machinery safely
- Valid Florida driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in Florida climate
- Basic knowledge of park safety regulations and first aid
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
