Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and athletic fields
- Lead recreational programs for youth, seniors, and community events
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct facility inspections
- Assist in park beautification projects and landscape maintenance
- Coordinate volunteer activities and community partnerships
- Respond to resident inquiries and maintain positive public relations
- Prepare reports on facility conditions and program attendance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in park maintenance or recreational program coordination preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
