Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean parks, trails, and recreational facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for the public.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of community events, festivals, and sports games.
- Perform routine landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, raking, and litter removal.
- Operate and maintain light landscaping and maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and hand tools.
- Ensure restrooms, picnic areas, and facilities are sanitized and well-stocked.
- Monitor park activities and provide general assistance to visitors and community members.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or formal education is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with the public.
- Reliable transportation is preferred.
