Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, including mowing, raking, weeding, and planting seasonal flowers and trees.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and festivals.
- Sweep, shovel, and remove debris from sidewalks, roadways, and park perimeters.
- Monitor park equipment to ensure safety standards and report damages or hazards immediately.
- Interact courteously with the public, answering questions and providing information regarding park rules and activities.
- Operate light landscaping and maintenance machinery, including mowers and trimmers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Missouri Driver’s License preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance tools and techniques.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
