Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking trails
- Conduct daily inspections of park grounds and equipment for safety hazards
- Assist with event setup and breakdown for community festivals and sports tournaments
- Perform routine landscaping tasks including irrigation checks and vegetation management
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries promptly
- Collaborate with team on seasonal projects like beach cleanups and habitat restoration
- Enforce park regulations while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience in landscaping, facility maintenance, or recreation services
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in tropical conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams
- Knowledge of native Hawaiian flora and cultural practices preferred
- Passion for environmental conservation and community engagement
