Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, facilities, and equipment ensuring safety and accessibility
- Organize and lead recreational programs (sports, arts, senior activities)
- Assist with community events and festivals coordination
- Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance needs
- Engage with park visitors providing excellent customer service
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years experience in parks, grounds maintenance, or recreation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance practices
