Responsibilities
- Process and verify voter registration applications and updates with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems for election records and administrative documents.
- Assist the public via phone and in-person with inquiries regarding election procedures and polling locations.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and internal memorandums to county officials.
- Perform routine data entry tasks using internal government databases and software systems.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for polling locations and election events.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous administrative or clerical experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
