Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy following federal guidelines
- Manage electronic records and document scanning systems
- Coordinate with federal agencies for veteran case management
- Respond to public inquiries via phone and email within SLA
- Prepare reports using VA-specific software (VBA, VBMS)
- Assist in scheduling veteran appointments and benefits briefings
- Maintain strict confidentiality of veteran PII data
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal position)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of federal records management standards (FIPS 199)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to pass federal background investigation
- Experience with case management software preferred
- VA or federal government experience a plus
