Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an assigned city route on foot or vehicle
- Sort, sequence, and distribute mail efficiently
- Operate mail processing equipment and vehicles safely
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer interactions
- Adhere to USPS policies and service standards
- Perform light maintenance and security checks on mail containers
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Availability for early morning shifts (pre-dawn start times)
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
