Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale government datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for policy improvement.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to visualize key performance indicators for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of civil servants and developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of sensitive citizen information.
- Prepare detailed reports and briefings for senior officials, communicating complex data findings clearly.
Qualifications
- Hold valid UK citizenship or indefinite right to reside in the UK.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and Python or R for statistical analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is required.
- Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, including a criminal records check.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously within a secure environment.
